Listen to This Story
While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them... And he said to them, 'What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?' And they stood still, looking sad. — Luke 24:15, 17
Story Time:
Two friends were walking down a road. They felt very sad. They thought Jesus was gone forever. But guess what? Jesus came and walked right beside them! He asked them, 'Why are you so sad?' Jesus was there with them the whole time, even when they didn't know it was Him.
Let's Move!
Let's pretend to walk down the road like the two friends. Walk in place with me! Now let's look sad — make a sad face. Now let's smile big because Jesus is with us! He never leaves us when we're sad.
