From the sermon Great or Humble?
What Jesus Said
At that time the disciples came to Jesus saying, 'Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?' And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.'
— Matthew 18:1-4

Activity: Act It Out!
With a partner or your family, act out this short scene:
One person pretends to be a disciple asking Jesus, 'Who is the greatest?'
The other person pretends to be Jesus calling a child over and saying, 'Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest.'
Then switch roles and do it again!
Remember This
God wants us to depend on Him like children depend on their parents. When we are humble and trust God, that's when we are truly great in His Kingdom!
